I am an average Joe, a regular person and I love pizza. I was used to getting my weekly fix until 2020 happened. Everything got locked down and I escaped to the countryside.
As I was unable to easily access good pizza, I started experimenting myself. No recipes, just simple logic and cutting corners every chance I got. Soon enough and a few pizzaz later I already needed 00 pizza flour. Then an overnight fermentation. Then a pizza stone. Then a pizza oven. Although my minimum requirements rose, I still cut corners wherever I could.
This page is about making great pizza and everything else that is needed to cook it – all with minimum possible effort, without sacrificing the result.
